Paul D. King, Executive Officer, School Finance Productivity
Paul and his wife have been blessed with 3 children, two of which are married and the youngest living at home with them in Dallas, Texas area. He has lived in the Dallas/Fort Worth and North Texas areas for over 30 years. Mr. King has served in the public education financial operations of public and non-profit entities in Texas since 1985, holding positions from Director of Finance to Assistant Superintendent for Business and Chief Financial Officer during his career. Most recently, he has served as an independent financial consultant to charter schools across Texas.
After a number of years of planning, Mr. King formed School Finance Productivity at the beginning of 2014 in partnership with a long-term business colleague, Hinson Chan, owner of Mindsphere Technology Group. Mr. Chan is a CPA and has thirty years of successful experience in the technology and financial industry. His dedication to providing the highest level of accuracy in software solutions made this partnership a natural fit.
By bringing together the talents from technology and business within School Finance Productivity, each customer will now be able to experience solutions that previously were not possible using traditional accounting approaches. The necessity for “tools” to address unique business office circumstances experienced first-hand by Mr. King has created a dream of one day being able to share personal guidance as well as software solutions, doing more in less time than humanly possible. School Finance Productivity brings to reality this dream in a way that is within reach for any size of organization served.
Mr. King received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Southwestern Adventist University in 1984. He plans to continue in the role of Executive Officer of School Finance Productivity, working with customers and guiding in the development of new solutions in the school finance arena as demands continue into the foreseeable future. He counts it a privilege to be trusted within school finance circles where serving behind the scenes is of utmost importance for every level within the education community.
